Teacher lesson plan on clothes: http://www.teachingenglish.org.uk/article/clothes
Let’s get dressed: song with clothes (socks, pants, shirt, shoes, coat), body parts (foot, leg, arm) and the verb put (something) on.
This is the way we get dressed: clothes (t-shirt, pants, shirt, socks, shoes, jacket) and their verbs (put on, button, tie, zip up).
- Game of ‘Change place if …’.
- Children sit in a circle. The teacher says ‘Change places if you’re wearing blue socks / a red
T-shirt / jeans , etc.’. After a couple of rounds ask for a volunteer to give instructions. Make the game more competitive by removing a chair from the circle each time the children get up to change places. Anyone who can’t find a chair is ‘out’ (source: http://www.teachingenglish.org.uk/sites/teacheng/files/teaching-kids-lesson-plan-clothes_0.pdf, author: Sally Trowbridge).
